ASUS joins Playfly College Esports powered by PlayVS as a new sponsor, providing equipment for live events including the Tournament of Champions occurring during CECC May Madness at Esports Stadium Arlington.
April 30, 2025 — Playfly College Esports powered by PlayVS, the largest collegiate esports community in North America, is thrilled to announce ASUS, a global leader in computer hardware and electronics, as a new sponsor. As part of the sponsorship, ASUS will serve as the official PC sponsor of Playfly College Esports and will provide high-performance products for Playfly College Esports' premier live event, the Tournament of Champions, set to take place during CECC May Madness at Esports Stadium Arlington in May 2025.

College programs competed in Playfly's semester-based competitions for top spots to qualify in up to 8 different titles including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Counter-Strike 2, Rainbow Six: Siege, and League of Legends. ASUS and Playfly are aligned in empowering top-tier performance for the dedicated players participating in the Tournament of Champions. As such, cutting-edge desktops, displays, and accessories from the Republic of Gamers (ROG) product line, a sub-brand of ASUS, will be provided on-site for all competitors. ROG consistently pushes the boundaries of gaming hardware and software, and will play a crucial role in ensuring players have the best equipment to showcase their skills in front of a live audience.

Qualifying programs such as Northwood University, Fisher College, and Rochester Institute of Technology will now compete April 30 - May 4 at Esports Stadium Arlington (ESA), one of the largest esports venues in North America. Select titles - VALORANT, Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate, Overwatch 2, and Rocket League - will place the winning Playfly team into the CECC May Madness bracket, allowing them to compete for further glory and prizing.
