Today marks an exciting new chapter for the future of collegiate esports and gaming.

Playfly College Esports, the largest collegiate esports community, is now part of PlayVS, the leading organization for scholastic gaming in North America. That’s right! We’re building the biggest and best amateur esports scene in the US and Canada, focused on making esports more accessible, more competitive, and improving the overall experience from middle school through college.

What's Changing (and What's Not)

Good news! For the rest of the Spring 2025 season, everything stays the same. And those plans we announced for the upcoming 2025-2026 season? Still happening. You’ll still get the same great support and league ops you’re used to from our admin team. Plus, there are some awesome new benefits coming your way, including more connections to high school programs and students looking to continue their esports journey in college.

Connecting the Dots: Middle School to College

But wait, there’s more! PlayVS also acquired Generation Esports, a leader in scholastic esports. This means PlayVS is connecting middle school, high school, and college esports like never before. It’s all about creating a clear path for gamers to grow and thrive.
