Tencent Announces Honor of Kings Campus Series, Expands Partnership With Playfly College Esports

BERWYN, PA (March 5, 2025) – Tencent has announced the Honor of Kings Campus Series (“KCS”), joining forces with Playfly College Esports, the fully owned and operated college esports community from Playfly Sports. Playfly already operates the PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship on behalf of Tencent in North America.

Honor of Kings, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, officially launched in North America this past June. During KCS, student-based teams representing universities and colleges in Canada and the US will participate in weekly matches as part of the regular season. 16 of the top teams will be invited to participate in the playoffs, where they’ll battle for a piece of the $15,000 scholarship prize pool, travel prizes, and more. Playfly and Tencent are expanding their partnership with this spring’s Honor of Kings Campus Series. Having worked together since Summer 2023 on the PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship, now in its fifth season, Tencent is excited to continue raising the bar with respect to mobile gaming at the collegiate level.
