Founded in 2009 and formerly known as Collegiate Starleague, CSL Esports, and most recently NACE Starleague, North America’s largest collegiate esports community will be reestablished as Playfly College Esports. The same team that’s been responsible for organization and operations will remain in place and will be augmented by the full breadth of Playfly’s back-office resources.

Playfly College Esports will continue to support a wide range of game titles at the Varsity & Open levels and will continue to operate competitions for the Collegiate Chess League, the eNASCAR College iRacing Series, PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship, and BIG EAST Esports under the new banner. One structural change of note is that Playfly’s Vice President of Esports Operations, Curtis Winger, will also take on the responsibility of Commissioner.  In this new role, Winger will work with an Advisory Committee, made up of volunteers from participating schools to help shape and govern competition and to ensure that Playfly continues to provide the best-in-class experience that it is known for.  To that end, Playfly College Esports is excited to announce a few of the benefits coming online, effective immediately:
