Apex Legends Announcement: A New Game Takes The God Spot

We’re thrilled to announce that Apex Legends will be joining Playfly’s roster of esports titles! Our officially licensed Apex competition will begin this Fall with standalone, one-day tournaments featuring prizes provided by EA, and will expand into a full season of competition in the Spring.

Fall Schedule:

Tournament #1: November 10, 2024 – REGISTER HERE
Tournament #2: November 17, 2024 – REGISTER HERE

Each tournament will consist of six, individual matches with points allocated based on placement and eliminations in each. Matches will begin at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT on both dates. More information about the Spring season will be available soon.

How to Register:

Step 1: Complete the Apex Legends Player Info form

Step 2: Register your team for one of the tournaments on the competition platform.

Note: A Playfly College Esports membership is required. Both Varsity and Open membership holders are eligible.

Step 3: Join our Discord server. Important announcement and all day-of communications will take place here.

Note: Each Tournament will be limited to 20 teams. The first 20 teams completely registered (registered on the competition platform + filled out the "Player Info Form") will be the teams given guaranteed spots in the Tournament.

We will allow an additional 5 teams to register for each Tournament to serve as our "waitlisted" teams. In case there are teams from the original 20 spots that do not show up on match days, we will pull in teams on the waitlist to compete in said Tournament.

Prizing:

The top two teams from each Fall tournament will win 13,050 Apex Coins (distributed as three codes redeemable through the EA App valued at 4,350 Apex Coins each). The full rulebook for this fall is available HERE.
